Ending the year 2015 on a high note, sharing my first wedding cake " MARSALA ELEGANCE ". Really proud of this one ! A very sophisticated and classy design, using gold as highlight to give a look of celebration, and white – the essence of purity and innocence, .I have selected Marsala , a very bold n regal colour, the Pantone colour of 2015 as the main colour for my cake.
The bottom tier has been decorated using stencilling n gold dredges , the tier above is decorated using various sized pearl n gold dredges, for the third tier I have used gold sequins , the barrel has been decorated using wafer paper in marsala creating a ruffled effect with gold highlights and the topmost tier, a sphere is hand crafted n designed using gold swirls placed randomly.
