I’ll make no bones about it, I’ve had a horrible Christmas. Horrible in the sense that a heavy head cold robbed me of five straight nights of sleep and the ability to finish all but one of my Christmas cakes. And all the time I was hoping and praying that I’d be well enough to make this birthday cake. On Sunday I wasn’t well enough to do it… On Monday I still wasn’t well enough to do it… But today, Tuesday, I WAS!!!! Spidey is all hand painted on flower paste and the background is generously spackled for drama. I’m so proud of how it turned out. xx
