A Soldiers Gift to His Wife

One of my absolute favorite cakes! I spent weeks planning this cake from a husband to his wife while he was stationed overseas…...when you have to hang up the phone because there is gunfire in the background, suddenly life takes a new perspective. The cake elements were all his ideas – I can remember thinking zebra, scroll, flowers, stars, dots, pink, black….this is going to be too much and look terrible. In the end, not the case :o) It was an absolute honor <3
