What an honor it was to make a cake for a real American hero! The recipient is a former Marine who served the branch’s Crash Fire and Rescue team. This red velvet cake is 100% edible and features a fondant/modeling chocolate helmet with hand painted accents. The badge, eagle, and fire hose nozzle are metalized with various sugars and edible glitter. The cake board is covered in a marbled fondant/chocolate mix.
