My chosen country was Singapore which holds great special meaning to me as it’s where my husband and some of is family are from. Singapore to me is a magical place consisting of lots of different cultures but mainly Chinese, Malaysian and Indian. My Santa is wearing traditional Malaysian attire for men – the baju melayu, accompanied with a sarong called a sampin which is wrapped around the hips and a songkok on his head. He is proudly giving a gift to a very excited little girl wearing a traditional Chinese Cheongsam dress.

Of course in Singapore one of the most iconic and historical landmarks is the Merlion which I included made out of cake and with a working water feature pumping out water like the real Merlion. The photos are not that great as I took them the day after being discharged from hospital and still groggy from anaesthetic and the procedure. Hope it still transport you into Singapore and gives you a snap shot of Christmas xxx
