This was made for an 18th Birthday Party, I was given a design and asked to recreate it, I made a couple of small changes but still followed the brief.
The cake is chocolate sponge with a chocolate buttercream and covered with sugarpaste, the decoration around the cake is cake lace and the brooch, rose and skull are made from modelling paste. The shoe is made from milk & white Belgium chocolate, with cake lace detailing.
I also made the cake stand to compliment the cake and follow the initial design.
I used a dinky doodle airbrush to achieve the overall black colour.
