Bundt Cake For Thanksgiving

Bundt Cake For Thanksgiving

Forgot to post this last month. Just a simple Bundt cake for our Thanksgiving but a new Bundt pan and I loved the design. Nordic Ware Heritage pan. The cake was a Bacardi rum cake, very old recipe but just as delicious today.

Thanks, simple but good. Every crumb was gone that night.

Place Pecan halves in the bottom of the greased Bundt pan before pouring in the batter. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes or until cake tests done.Cool, poke holes with a fork randomly and glaze with a Rum infused simple syrup. 1 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water. 1/2 cup Bacardi rum, bring to a boil, stirring until sugar has melted. Cool and spoon over cooled cake. Keep adding glaze as the cake absorbs it, you may not want to use the full amount of the glaze.
