Happy Birthday to my sweet hubby! I finally got to make him a really cool birthday cake, and it’s my first hanging cake! He and his family have always collected hearts and it has become sort of the family symbol. Plus he is a jewelry artist and works with metal everyday so I tried to go for an aged copper finish on the ganache. Had to add a little Steampunk style too. This is his favorite dark chocolate cake with pecan praline filling and dark fudge frosting. My favorite part is the aged copper finish.
