Pretty vintage cupcake tower

I was asked to create a pretty cupcake tower with vintage touches for a summer wedding. I wanted to give lots of variety to the cupcakes so we baked vanilla, chocolate, lemon and strawberry cheesecake cupcakes and frosted each one with a matching buttercream. Some were finished with buttercream swirls and some with fondant toppers. I then added a selection of pearls, handmade roses, bows and rosebuds in shades of pink and cream. I absolutely loved these cute little cupcake flags with lovely wedding messages. They looked so cute. I displayed the cupcakes on a clear stand and dotted pretty vintage tea cups and glasses on and around the stand for added interest. The top tier was a white chocolate and raspberry sponge filled with raspberry jam and a white chocolate ganache filling. I decorated this with fondant and handmade sugarpaste roses, all finished with lace and satin bow.
