I was commissioned to make a cake by my client for her friend as a surprise. He is an avid photographer and he owns this particular camera model. I wanted the camera to be the focal point, thus keeping the rest of the design on the cake minimal.

I used and carved styrofoam for the body & lens of the camera and covered both in black fondant. The rest of the details including the strap were fondant too The only mistake i did/overlooked was adding the red triangle on the camera as little did I realised only NIKON has that…oops! But luckily the birthday boy didn’t notice that at all! Phew!!
