River Skate

River Skate

For a lovely lady who canoes and skates the river. This was an unexpected emotional almost cathartic creation ~ in the best way. It had me reminiscing about childhood friends and the countless hours skating on the ‘Duck Pond’…and the forged friendships from mornings and evenings spent skating with the figure skating club kids. Was so nice to bring those memories out of the vaults…who knew a cake could do such things. :)
