This was my very first brush with wafer paper. (Yes, this is not a recent cake!)
An egg-free strawberry and vanilla swirl cake with strawberry and vanilla cream cheese buttercream filling and matching colored frosting.
I used an offset spatula to finish the top and sides.
The pink wafer paper was hand colored, and then cut into rolled roses.
