My second wedding cake for the weekend. An all white 4 tiered sponge cake with sugar Orchids and pleats. There was so much about this cake that was out of my comfort zone but I am so thankful for the challenges it posed and what I was able to achieve under time constraints. My first time making wired sugar flowers and although not perfect or to the level of my fellow cake artists, I developed a greater understanding and appreciation for the skill, expertise and time needed to create them. You have all become more amazing in my eyes as a result of this experience!

I was also fortunate enough to be a guest at the wedding which made it all the more special. The bride and groom were blown away by their cake and said some beautiful things during the speech I was so humbled and touched. I really hope you like it x
