Bottom tier was a dummy, so I was able to use small rhinestones on the intersections of the diamond shapes. I made all the flowers with gumpaste.

love, love, love is that quilted buttercream or fondant? If buttercream can you give me a few tips on perfecting it? I have been practicing daily on buttercream. When I use a skewer or ruler to make the lines more prominent the frosting drags leaving ridges of frosting. :(

Laura, it’s fondant. I’ve done it a few times on buttercream, and I use the same tool for both. I have a diamond press. I then do any touch ups with a gumpaste tool. 😉
