I love this cake, would you mind sharing how the pink fondant is placed over the white. Do you scallop it before or after putting it over the white fondant. Also is royal icing used for the out line? I need to learn how to do this.

Hi there! I made a scalloped template about and inch bigger than the cake and used it to cut out a circle of pink scalloped fondand and then placed it onto the white fondant with a little water. It was a bit fiddly and probably would have looked better if it had of been rolled a bit thinner though! Yes I used royal icing for the outline, but I did this after it was alraedy attached to the cake! Hope this helps x
