Making this wedding cake meant a lot to me as it was the venue where we got married 8 years ago, not only that but the couple who were getting married were a gorgeous special couple too.
It was all sponge cake. Bottom tier had a lace press, middle tier were made using the billowing effect and the top was hand piped, with about 50 roses hand made on the top tier. Gorgeous colouring as it was the same colour as the beautiful bridesmaids.
