Here there are the photographies of the first live Megaworkshop/experience document during the International Fair of artistic confectionary Bcnandcake. Photographic article realized by Marta Soriano in his practical totality. They have been four days of fair at which we have been employed with 6 pupils per day devoting ourselves to the creation of this monumental cake with tempered chocolate, candy isomalt, sponge cake, ganache, royal icing, fondant, plastic chocolate, etc. Four intense days in which the caketastic cadets have given everything of if to feed more than 800 persons with a tart of almost 400 kg with a few measures of 250×240×80 cm the complete scenery. A fantastic work of equipment that has gone months to plan and to coordinate.

The Caketastics are absolutely thrilled by the great reception of the project in the fair. First we must be grateful to Anabel Lope for the confidence deposited in us and the enthusiasm with the project. Also to Elena Torrón his dedication at the moment of trying to facilitate the best conditions to us to realize the workshop in spite of the misadventures that always happen. Certainly we are grateful for the wonderful products yielded by the sponsors of the project: Lurpak, Credin, Sweet solution and Aroma Cake. But to whom more been grateful we are is to the pupils whose implication with the project has allowed that we could win. Also we are grateful for the whole support of the people who was happening to meet us and to encourage us with his fondness in spite of the fact that we could not stop to greet very much.

We are Arantxa Arteaga from Sweet Kokeko, Mayte Rodriguez from Maytarta & me. You can know more about “The caketastics” following this link: https://www.facebook.com/LosTartasticosTheCaketastics
