My Grandaughter, Mercy Grace, is turning 7 today! Praise God. She is a special needs little girl, who’s doing so well, but when she was born, we didn’t know if she would live. This is the first cake I’ve been able to do for her because she lives out of state and hasn’t been able to travel much. It’ll be a fun few days :)

A special cake for a special girl x It always amazes me how strong babies can be. They constantly exceed all expectations and go on to do far more than you’d ever hope for. My friends youngest son was diagnosed with Autism when he was 3 and the doctors told her not to expect too much He’s just gone into halls for his 2nd year at University, living away from home and expected to do well with his studies. Thanks to a Mum who refused to believe not to expect too much. Hero’s both of them xx Sending love and light to you and yours xx

Thanks so much, lovely ladies,, for your well wishes and sweet comments. She loved her cake :) Yes, as Karen said, children are amazing and do far more than we think they can.
