Last minute birthday cake for my daughter’s roommate. Cake is peanut butter brushed with a combination of liqueur & grape jam and filled and covered in peanut butter buttercream. After tasting this buttercream, I can no longer say that I do not like ABC cause this one is delicious. Not the best looking cake but had very little time to decorate it but I know it will taste good.

Goreti, it never fails…you are willing to try all kinds of recipes! I’ve never even heard of a peanut butter cake! And I really haven’t ever ever heard of peanut butter butter cream! I just am not adventurous enough.

I love to try new recipes all the time. The birthday boy loves peanut butter. I would have loved to pair it with chocolate or caramel but he is not a fan. Maybe next time. The buttercream is delicious. Tastes like the inside of a peanut butter cup.
