When I was asked to design a cake for a 21st surprise birthday party and to include green and fashion elements with free choice to include Sicilian flavours to the cake, I could not resist paying homage to one of my favourite fashion designer Dolce& Gabbana and to use what Sicilian patisserie is about…almonds,pistachio ,lemons, & chocolate, rum,ricotta, candied fruit.
