Wizard of Oz

This one was for my little sister who LOVES The Wizard of Oz movie. The emerald city is swiss cake rolls covered in white chocolate modeling clay. The poppies (CA poppies ‘cause that’s where we were born) are my first attempt at making anything with gum paste…probably not the best idea to start with flowers, lol. The ruby slippers are fondant covered in red sparkling sugar and edible red glitter. It was a vanilla cake with vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream covered in marshmallow fondant.
