Harry Potter Cake

My first cake ever using fondant. Never worked with it before. My son really wanted a Harry Potter cake for his birthday but no one could make one (that I could afford) and I could not find any topper or any sort of Harry Potter decorations anywhere either….so after researching it for a while online I decided to make it myself. Made my first batch of MMF and buttercream and gave it a go… I ran out of time so had to use feathers for the stich’s wings and as this was my first time with fondant I had no idea you cannot make black fondant at home so after using a whole bottle of black coloring I gave up and used plastic glasses. It turned out pretty good for my first cake and most importantly my son was so happy!
