Finally back to doing the kind of cakes i love!!! I was over the moon when this little beauty was booked in. My customer asked me to design a cake for her fella who is a godzilla finatic!

So after gathering various details of his favorite godzilla (who knew there were so many variations!!)
I knew straight away what i wanted to do. I wanted sound in this bad boy!!

I didnt go for the usual small card sound recording modules they just arent loud enough. I used a motion sensor one i had kicking around from a crocodile cake i made for my son a couple years ago and it did the job perfectly!

I had to build a frame for zilla to support his weight. he was heavier than i expected so i also had to build additional support for him within the base! He would have just tore up the cake if id have just pushed the dowels in.

zilla is made from RKT, modelling chocolate and fondant. the cake was vanilla sponge with swiss meringue buttercream and raspberry jam
