This is the main cake that went with the cupcakes I published earlier. This cake was a double barrell rainbow layered sponge filled with M&Ms in the centre (pinata style) so when the cake is cut they spill out as a surprise centre. Unfortunately I don’t have a photo of the cake cut so I can’t show you that. The cake is for Evie celebrating her 5th Birthday. I was inspired by Carlos Lischetti and consulted his book to make the two cute and chubby mice and the tea cup cake. To finish it off I made a tatty second hand table cloth that the two mice have ripped in their pursuit of tea, sugar and macarons! Hope you like this, my last cake for a month as I leave for a big holiday this weekend x
