I was asked to make a cake for our friends’ daughter’ s joint 30th birthday party. I’d already made a 2 tier (8"&6") cake with bunting, flowers & Cath Kidston bag but was worried it would not be big enough. This is a fondant covers 3 layer vanilla Victoria sandwich cake, filled with vanilla buttercream & raspberry jam . As it wasn’t the main cake I only used a cake board whereas I’d normally use a covered cake drum. The dogs were hand cut using a Radley tag template I’d made.,
