I worked through this cake feeling very confused with the colour scheme for a summer wedding,
but on setting it up I now understand why!
The venue was in the middle of a field at a farm,
hog roast simmering and dark green being the colour for all the balloons and accents.
It was a challenge to cover in this heat, but my dehumidifier helped :-)
The base tier was a deep chocolate mud cake, filled with black cherry jam and chocolate frosting, covered with a dark chocolate ganache, the middle and top tiers were vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and vanilla frosting with a covering of white chocolate ganache.
