I was so happy to make this cake for one of the cutest couples I have ever seen. You can just see the love in both of their faces when you see them together. It’s really extraordinary. ? Bride wanted a cake that was soft, romantic and something similar to roses. I wanted to play up on the lace details of her dress, so this is what I came up with. Each of the 4 tiers has 4 layers of vanilla sour cream cake filled and iced in vanilla buttercream icing. All buttercream icing work except for a few fondant flowers and edible pearls. Beautiful flower topper was put together by their fabulous florist. First time trying out brush embroidery. I had a backup plan in case it didn’t work out, but was very happy with the outcome. Thanks to SweetAmbs for her awesome video tutorial on how to do brush embroidery! She does it in royal icing, but I wanted to do it in buttercream so gave it a go. TFL! <3
