Inspired by the cover on one of the latest cake mags this is my version of the rocking horse cake made for my friend.

The top tier is vanilla sponge the bottom tier strawberry milkshake
I found making the rocking horse a real challenge, it’s designed to slot together but I found as the sugar paste dried it expanded ever so slightly meaning I then had to trim the fixings, a good lesson for next time.
