Everyone should have a sword to cut their cake with, right? This wedding cake was destined for a castle, with a beautiful driveway, gorgeous wrought iron gates and it’s very own Irish Wolfhound!!! It was my frist trip to the Castlebellingham hotel and I fell in love with their beautiful cake stand and amazing sword! The bride chose the most amazing, brightly coloured modern, freeform bouquet incorporating orchids and roses, so I had the task of recreating them for the top of the cake, along with tiers of ruffles, sparkling sugar and sugar lace.
