This my contribution for singapore’s 50th birthday celebration , under the collaboration " SG50 bakers".
The concept uses Red and white from the national flag as the base colours representing equality , Purity and Virtue. The one thing that strikes most about this city is the magnificient structures , standing bold and erect, as if proud to belong to this part of the world. The design thereof is inspired by the Singapore architecture where one sees subtle sophisticated archways juxtaposed against buildings with bold fun splashes of colours, almost symbolic of the mutual co-existence of differences, be it in community, religion, language.
The Father of the Nation also makes his esteemed presence felt as without his vision Singapore wouldn’t be the Lion city it is today!
This city has given me peace, love and I see my home and family flourish against all oddities because of the environment this city- country provides!
Here’s wishing the nation a happy 50th!
Inspiration from these structures : Colour full window display of the Iconic Old hill Police station , The battle Box(Fort Canning) , colourful Window display of Tan Teng Niah Villa(113 yr old building in Little India), Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands, lanterns, PM Lee Ribbon , Fireworks, Merlion, SG50
