Sarah’s Brother Ian’s having a ‘big’ Birthday…….. (it comes to us all eventually).
He’s an Arable Farmer so he grows lots of crops including Wheat and Corn .
When he gets time, (not that he has much being a Farmer), he likes to spend time with his three Labradors and do a bit of hunting and shooting out in the Countryside.

I wanted to add some hand painting to the cake, so the flying Duck and Brace of Pheasants are hand modelled using white flower paste and then hand painted with colour dust and vodka.

The cake is Double Lemon drizzle with fresh lemon zest in the sponge as well as some home made lemon curd with vanilla cream between the layers.
I hope you all have a fantastic time and HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY IAN x
