Poppies Wedding Cake

My bride had seen this cake in a different colour and requested it in these colours.
The happy couple are car and racing enthusiasts so black, white and red figured very much in their wedding details. The bridesmaids wore black dresses with red sashes which were very effective.
Not wanting to step on anyone’s toes I searched the web to see if I could find the originator.
I did and my thanks go to Julie of Cake Chester who kindly gave me her permission.

Julia I’m afraid I’m not that good as I had a good idea who the originator was from her Flickr days. So it wasn’t really difficult to message her and ask permission. It’s just not possible that often as we all know..!xxx
