This is a very sentimental cake for me. This was for my cousin’s first baby shower. It is a two tiered carrot cake with messy cream cheese buttercream decorated with hand-cut fondant silhouettes and topped with a pink fondant bow. She loved ballet dearly and we used to dance together, which was many years ago. The silhouettes tell the story of her life as a baby ballerina to tiny dancer and finally to motherhood. It was so fun to make this cake for her and seeing her reaction was priceless! Congratulations mamma, baby’s on her way! :)
