My first ever book cake made for the Official opening of a local school library, in honour of a much loved teacher. Book has a textured cover and has been handpainted to resemble an old leather bound book. Drum is airbrushed. Decorations are fondant and all handmade and edible. That’s the most wording I think I’ve ever had to add to a cake! Cake is lemon with homemade lemon syrup, lemon buttercream, raspberry jam and dried raspberry pieces, covered in white chocolate ganache and fondant.
