This was my brother’s groom’s cake, the Borg from Star Trek’s Next Generation series. The bride & groom go to sleep with the series playing on TV. I wish I had put stars on the board after seeing a cake here. Someone in the restaurant’s kitchen spilled something on the board. My friend Andreea Gerwin, my mentor, helped with cutting out all kinds designs to get this done & suggest putting their initials & the wedding date on the cake. Tedious!! We were renting a shore house (Jersey Shore) for the week of the wedding & I had to bring all kinds of supplies to decorate 2 cakes for the end of the week wedding. I was happy my cake came out so square!! This was made from 2 – 8" cakes
