Almost forgot I didn’t post this one here yet and I really should before I start working on my daughter’s cake this weekend!

I made this for my son’s big 10th birthday party in May but his birthday was actually in April. We waited until May for good weather but then the new Avengers Age of Ultron movie came out and he asked if we could have a movie party instead. Well it IS his big intro to double digits so we had to say yes.

So of course this also meant a change in theme and design for his cake. Luckily he helped out and told me exactly what he wanted on it. I just chose the colour scheme and decided on a silver finish for the bottom on the Captain America tier because I wanted to differentiate and distinguish it from the Avengers cake I made just the week earlier.

The mask is hand cut and detailed with fondant and painted with silver lustre dust. The third pic shows the glowing eyes in daylight.
