Inspired by the first giraffe cake I made, and tailored for the recipient who had stayed at “Giraffe Manor” in Africa – apparently the giraffes roam free around the house and stick their heads in the window for food that is left in each room for guests to give to them. A picture of the building was supplied for me to work from.

How absolutely delightful… I’d love to go stay there!!! Awesome cake, love the design!!! I spent a lot of time in the game reserves and loved the curious creatures, so graceful too.

Thanks – from the way he described it, it sounded wonderful – this was a present for his wife and he’d never done anything like it for her before so on both fronts apparently she was over the moon. I think the recipient of the original giraffe cake (my friend) would love to go stay at this place!
