A cake I created to celebrate the first year of Highland Medical Centre. Their logo includes thistles, so I hand painted thistles on the bottom tier. The top tier represented sky. I then made two thistles from gum paste. Each prickle was cut and placed individually with tweezers and yes it took a long time, but I was pleased with the final result. Thanks for looking.

This is amazing and your thistles are so realistic, which is not easy with a thistle. Beautiful painting too.
