This cake was made for my “country girl” granddaughter’s graduation party. Each cake was designed to have a different theme. The bottom cake with cowgirl hat and boots was to represent her style. This was a chocolate cake covered in buttercream. The boots were made from rice krispie treats and covered with fondant. The crown of the hat is cake, molded with fondant. The second was a yellow cake topped with a graduation cap and diploma. The top of the mortarboard was painted to resemble camophlage (at their schoool, the graduates are allowed to decorate their caps). The third was a red velvet cake designed to represent her continuing ed in the field of nursing.
