The clients wanted a Swan Shape stand which they bought themselves, if I am honest I think they are a little old fashioned and I am not keen on how the cake looks hovering at an angle, I mounted the bride and groom on the bottom tier as I was worried they may take a tumble off the top tier I also thought it made the cake design balance better, I wrapped a posy on the metal also to try and bring the design together. It is the first time I have made Lisianthus flowers which I was pretty pleased with. They loved the cake and it was marbled inside with purple.
