Hello all ! I feel privileged to be a new entrant to this wonderful group. I would like to present on this podium " The Mermaid Cake " that was my entry for the Cake competition in Wels, Austria, last month. Mermaid is handmade out of sugar paste, corals and fisch are hand painted with edible colors. Ocean blue was done with an airbrush and no moulds of any sort were used. Though this cake was pretty time consuming, it was worth an effort.
