For the Princess

Being fairly new at this, I have struggled with getting fondant onto a tall cake. After watching Sharon Zambito’s video tutorial on how to wrap a drum in fondant I gave it a go in this practice cake and I love what I learned in her video tutorial! A practice dummy has been covered in antique white Fondarific buttercream fondant and accented with various fondant molds for the ornamental surround. Gumpaste flowers of roses, strings of pearls, and leaves crown this sweet little tall cake.
I am very happy with the way this design developed and can hardly wait to get this lovely made into a cake I can serve!
