Pretty mermaid and dolphin themed birthday cake.
I used the Maggie Austin ruffle technique on the bottom tier, which was three cake boards sandwiched together and covered. I liked how the ruffles gave it a more romantic, girlie feel.
The middle tier is an 8" and the top tier a 6".
I used an ice cube tray we had to make the dolphins. Not the best example of dolphins, but it was a quick and easy way to make them as the cake had taken a while you put together.
