Shabby Chic Anniversary

I covered the cake with buttercream and used a wooden spoon to make the indented stripes. I initially used my metal spatula, but the grooves were not as wide as I’d envisioned, so I grabbed a big wooden spoon out the drawer and it was a perfect size. The flowers are fresh flowers. The cake topper was a cardboard plaque which I’d seen at Michael’s Craft store. I painted it with gold airbrush colors, then coated it in gold disco dust. I then attached popsicle sticks to the back by using melted chocolate.
