3D Red Dragon from AQW

This cake was a special one…for my son. He wanted a cake from an online game he plays and he particularly liked the red dragon…so I took it 3D for him. Only catch…?…He hates fondant, lol. So, this is a mint chocolate cake with an Andes mint ganache and then covered in modeling chocolate. Only the wings and horns are gum paste.

After keeping him out of the kitchen all day (I wanted to surprise him)…I finally showed it to him that evening and his face was priceless! This is why I do cakes…
