I was asked to do a cake for my works bake sale. For some reason I was thinking it was next week, so as I was leaving work yesterday, my boss asked me how the cake was coming!!! “Um, what?!” Then the lights came on… yikes!! Needless to say I immediately left work, ran to the store, raced home and got to work. Made it to the bake sale 9:00 am sharp this morning!!!
Chocolate cake with chocolate mousse filling, all MMF with some piping work. This was also my first attempt at creating the eyelet lace look.
