My Icing Smile All Buttercream Mickey Cake

MY first icing Smile cake. I’m so honored when I got my first call of action to make this cake even if I’m only less than one year of baking and decorating experience.

It was a short notice (one week). I did everything I can to make and deliver this cake. Drove 2 hours from our house to the Birmingham Children’s hospital just to put a smile on this special boy ;) even after working night shift Friday night.

The mother requested all buttercream cake with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme. So this was the cake I came up with.

A hot air balloon cake topper, hand molded Mickey Mouse figure with matching hand painted Mickey Smash cake.

They all enjoyed the cake and I’m so happy with the outcome ;) hope you all like it too.
