It was such an honour to have been invited to be a part of this amazing and fun collaboration by the incredibly talented Alana Lily Chocolates & Cakes. I jumped at the chance as Pinocchio is one of my all time favourties. I have learned so much from all the lovely and amazing artists involved and I’m so grateful for their endless words of encouragement and support.

I chose one of Gepetto’s humorous cuckoo clocks as my contribution. My fabulous hubby covered a board with wallpaper and screwed 2 pieces of cake board on it for me to hang/sit the cake on.

Although it was secured very well I did have visions of the whole board falling and smashing my cake whilst I put the finishing touches on. After two maybe three sleepless nights, here it is, my cuckoo clock on the wall!
