2D Head Horse Cake

Horse head. Our surgeon doctor was the one who ordered this cake. I initially declined to make this cake cause honestly, i’m not really sure if I can do justice to make it to look like a real horse. But he insisted and said that he trusted me and got the feeling that I’ll do just fine.

With that in mind, I have to go with that as my inspiration. This is my first sculptured cake and used the remaining scrap cake to add details to the cake like the muscles.

I’m really happy on how it turned out considering this is my first. The details like the eyes, nose, mouth, sparkling white teeth ;), the ear and the hairs. And of course, the headstall bridle.
