I’m pleased to be invited by the lovely and talented _Nisha Fernando _ of Sweet Delights Cakery to join the Festival of Vesak Cake Collaboration with other 41 amazing Sugar Artists from around the world. Each artist has created a cake to honor the triple anniversary of Lord Buddha – his birth, his attaining Enlightenment and his passing away into Nirvana.

My contribution piece is inspired by some of the Buddhists’ traditional observances and symbols during this special occasion (wearing white dress to worship in their temple, lighting colourful lanterns, and lotus flowers) and it’s represented by this happy little girl named Arya.
